Over 30 years in Hunterdon County, and the same trucks in every photograph on this site. That is not an accident. It is the whole business model: the owner is on every job site, and nothing we sell is ever handed off to a crew you have not met.
Who we are
The owner is on every job site
Countryside Tree Experts is a family-owned and woman-owned tree service, based at 38 Jericho Rd in High Bridge, New Jersey, over 30 years now. We are not a franchise and we are not a lead-generation front for someone else's crew: the owner walks the property with you before a saw ever starts, looks at what the tree is actually doing, and answers for the estimate personally. That is true whether the job is a single leaning ash in a back yard or two dozen trees down after a storm.
Free estimates are part of that. So is telling you plainly when a tree can be treated and kept, rather than quoting a removal because removal is the bigger job. The person who tells you that is the same person who is there when the work happens.
No subcontractors, ever
We do not contract out any of our services
Storm season is when this matters most. A front comes through, the phones light up county-wide, and the crews nobody has heard of show up in an unmarked pickup to take the overflow work. We do not do that, in either direction. When the "24 HR STORM SERVICE" sign on our trucks means a call gets answered, it is our own trained employees who show up, on our own equipment, the same as they would on a Tuesday afternoon.
That holds for every service we offer, not just storm work: removals, pruning, stump grinding, plant healthcare, land clearing, land management and erosion control are all handled in-house. Same-day service is available when the job allows it, and emergency tree service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, answered by the crew that is actually going to do the work.
Licensed and insured
It's stamped on the door, not just claimed on a web page
Countryside Tree Experts holds New Jersey Tree Care licence NJTC770078. It is stamped on the fleet decal, the same decal you can read on the truck parked in your driveway, not tucked away as a number you have to take on faith.
We carry an ISA Certified Arborist on staff, and a licensed arborist is on site at every job, not just the ones we flag as complicated. We are fully insured. When that arborist looks at your ash tree and tells you it is worth treating rather than removing, that recommendation is coming from the same licence that is painted on the truck.
Our crew
Trained employees, and a discount for the people who serve
Every crew member on our trucks is a trained, professional employee of Countryside Tree Experts, not a day-labor hire brought on for a busy week. That is what makes the "we do not subcontract" promise possible in the first place: it only works if the people on the rope and in the bucket are people we trained ourselves.
We offer senior citizen, military and first responder discounts, and we cover Hunterdon County: High Bridge, Clinton, Annandale, Flemington, Lebanon, Glen Gardner, Hampton, Califon, Tewksbury and Pittstown. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Emergency tree service does not keep those hours. It runs around the clock.
