Tree removal, storm work and canopy care by the crew that owns every rig on the job

Family-owned and woman-owned since long before the ash started dying. The owner stands on the ground at every job, and nothing we sell is ever handed to a subcontractor.

Why the trucks matter

You can look up the licence on the door

Storm season brings out crews nobody in Hunterdon County has heard of, working from an unmarked pickup and gone by the time the insurance paperwork lands. Ours are the same six trucks in every photograph on this site, running out of our own yard on Jericho Road, carrying a licence number you can check.

Stamped on the door

Everything below is painted on a truck you can walk up to

NJTC770078

NJ Tree Care licence

The licence number is stamped on the fleet decal, not just claimed on a web page. A licensed arborist is on site at all times.
ISA

Certified Arborist on staff

The ISA emblem on the truck door is the reason a treatment plan comes back as a plan, rather than as a quote to remove everything.
24 HR

Storm service, day or night

Emergency work runs around the clock, every day. The number on the truck is answered when the office is shut.
OWN CREW

Nothing is subcontracted

Every service we sell is carried out by our own trained employees. No storm chasers, no crew you have not met, no phone number that stops working in March.

Free estimates. Senior citizen, military and first responder discounts.

In their words

Two dozen trees down, and the rest of the property left alone

I was impressed by how quickly they responded to my inquiry and got the job done the same week. The crew removed two large trees safely and left my property spotless. Great communication and value!

Great experience working with Countryside! Shawn and his crew worked with precision to take down several trees on my property, two of which were extremely large dead ash trees. From start to finish they were thorough and made sure the job was done right. Great service and great price!

Countryside did an excellent job taking care of us after some rough storms. We had significant wind damage and about two dozen trees, some of them very large that had to be removed and pruned. Great communication, prompt, and quality work. They removed all the trees with minimal disruption to the rest of the property, courteous and fair priced. Highly recommend.

Sometimes. We treat for Emerald Ash Borer and for Spotted Lanternfly, and we also do deep root fertilization, root collar excavation and tree cavity work to slow decay. Where a tree is already structurally unsafe, removal is the honest answer and we will tell you that.

Yes. We run crane services for large and hazardous removals, which is how a tree comes off a roofline or out of a tight back garden in controlled sections instead of being felled.

Estimates are free and the owner comes out. If the tree can be treated and kept, we will say so. If it is already unsafe, we will say that instead, and we will bring the crane rather than drop it and hope.
